Our Story
Sentinel started back in 1963 in New York City, with one of it's co-founders being Anthony Prioleau. The residential
client base in New York was primarily the Jamaica Heights area of Queens and surrounding counties; installing burglar alarm
systems. Their commercial client base consisted of the New York City Board of Education providing security systems for
burrough schools.
Anthony's daughter, Tina Prioleau, left New York in her mid-20's and relocated to the family's prospective retirement
home in Fayetteville, Georgia, in the late 1980's. Upon her arrival Tina endeavored to prepare a place for her Father,
and started APCO Security & Lock, Inc.. Anthony and the remainder of the family joined her in the early 90's and are
now, together, operating Sentinel South Security.
